Mount of Skanderbeg (Mali i Skënderbeut) has a limited view because of other mountain range. It’s not so panoramic, but the trail to go on top of it, is interesting and you can hike it in every season of the year.

Mountain of Skanderbeg is in National Park of Qaf Shtama and it’s exactly the place when you can start hiking, specifically from the plant water factory.

From there you will go on top of it called  “Maja e Liqenit”,1723 m (Peak of Lake, because there are two small glacial lakes).

Mount of Skanderbeg is in the border of two cities, Kruja and Mati. The ridge of mountain is 22 km longer and 2-5 km wide.

Everyone can hike this mountain, but you have to be patient, because all the hike will be around 5-6 hours, with stops of course. All the trail is around 700 m above sea.

Flora in this area is diverse and it’s rugged terrain, but rocky.

As always when you hike the mountain, you should have: mount shoes (gorotex), dresses to protect from wind and rain, fruits, water and sunscreen cream.

If it is sunny day, you can sea Adriatic Sea from above.
